With its rural location, this local yarn shop AND fiber mill is more of a destination than a "happen along" place, but it absolutely deserves a stop. From the cast iron bathtub full of handspun to the fiber mill tour by the owners themselves, this place is bursting with pure fiber charm. My kids run with goats along the fence line while I grab a sweater quantity of something utterly unique, along with a bag of locally roasted coffee (it's my tradition ). It's amazing to discuss the feed of the animal whose fleece you're purchasing and personally witness the mountain vistas where it grazes. A true one-of-a-kind fiber experience where every dollar spent is hard-earned and stays local. I felt like a friend after my first visit and can't wait to go back!
