I've been doing my husbands laundry here for a few months on the weekends and haven't had to deal with the staff.... Yeah price for them to do it is outrageous.... price to pay for someone to come unlock the door because THEY Said they would call is 10$!!! I called to have someone meet there to get his clothes and i had said my husband said someone was going to call him if he didn't show by a little after 4... she then started getting really flippen rude with me saying that was not in the conversation and she just continued to tell me i was wrong and so I got upset and said she was being rude that I wasnt saying it was her fault just forgot the clothes and we need them and the conversation goes on.... who treats customers like that? Then when I picked up his clothes the lady was extremely nice and acted like nothing happened.....
Just wanted to let as many people I can know how I was treated today at this laundromat. To start off I am a single mom who spends literally 100 dollars per month at this place on a regular basis just to do my laundry. I am a very quiet and reserved person who is not destructive by any means. I came into this laundromat today and got all my clothes in the washer, I had made some small conversation with the lady on staff. The response/customer service given in return was plain rude. So I continued to keep to myself as I was before. I come here often enough so my son is use to the rules here and usually does well. This time was the first time staff was here. She had left her office door open with multiple chemicals left open and available to any of the three children running around the facility. My son had seen the door open and went for it. (He is only two). Knowing he shouldn't be in there I was shortly behind him trying to catch him and get him out of there. The staff got to him in the office first, once I got there to catch him she began yelling at me, insulting my parenting, telling me I need to watching my effing kid. My response was that she should keep the door shut as clearly he is not the only kid and it is unsafe to have these chemicals laying around and that I was watching my child hence the fact that I am here to get him out of here. She replied that it was her door and she can do what she want and continued to mumble insulting comments. I then took my son to go sit in the car with a friend as he has suffered trauma in the past and did not need to here someone yelling and saying such things. I then returned to finish my laundry. When I returned I was told to get my s**t and leave. At this point i had already put 10$ in the driers and explained I was not in a position to lose ten dollars and that I would leave when the cycle was completed. As she continued to insult me I replied and told her that she can call the police and I would happily leave when they come escort me as i did nothing wrong. She finally gave up and ended up sitting in the office until I left. The moral of the story is that i was treated with awful customer service, was insulted, and have came to a realization that this place is not child friendly in ways of safety and patients. Thought you all should know. Thanks for letting me share!!
They need to fix 3 out of the four benches they have. They sag in the middle...a lot. Otherwise, clean and good rates.
