First Lady lets me know she can't change my address or number for me without a $15 charge for doing so, ok both Verizon reps I spoke to were surprised and said it's obviously a store thing because they had never heard of that, fine whatever I did it myself in car in front of store in 60 seconds, clearly that lady is just lazy and store is money hungry.
By the appearance of the same lady there both days I am not surprised a bit.
I get back to meeker to find I have zero service at home or in town, I get ahold of Verizon they said because I have prepaid service I can't connect to the other towers and just to go back to the store I had paid my bill in with cash and they can refund me because they do not offer coverage where I live.
Very rude, had lots of questions about changing over to Verizon, they were not very happy that I had so many questions. Understaffed, lots of people waiting, do not apologize for the wait, won't even say hi when you come in.
I have been a Verizon customer for several years, even on a regular plan and this was a first I had heard that prepaid doesn't get the same coverage, it's clearly in their fine print.
Kristen was extremely helpful! She helped me set up my new phone even when I couldn't remember my pass codes. She also took the time to answer all my questions. Thank you Kristen and the rest of the staff!
That was the worst customer service and careless attitude by any store who is an authorized (any carrier I have been to) retailer.
All for the lady to call her manager and her manager say no. Yet Verizon said they could? She said her manager would? Why would anyone tell someone yes without even speaking to the manager in the first place, my husband explained I was an hour away, sooooo rude.
Before driving an hour back to Craig I had my husband call and ask if they were willing to do the refund because if not Verizon said they can do a PI ticket and it would take close to 3 WEEKS to get my money back. I had just bought a used iPhone 6s and had to pay the 80 for my service so I had spent a lot to still have no phone.
The lady says yes her manager will give me a refund, so I drive another 1hr drive back to Craig.
The worst Verizon retailer I have ever been to, went in to transfer SIM card to phone I had just bought and to pay my bill to reactivate my prepaid service. I just moved to Colorado last week and broke my phone an hour after arriving. So I had been without a phone for a week and I had driven from meeker (hour drive).
I call Verizon after yelling at the lady out of frustration and Verizon IMMEDIATELY refunded my money back onto card I always used to pay my bill, why the lady couldn't first time I called, who knows, maybe new.
