Horrible!!!! Overbooked the hotel and gave away our reservation. Claimed she never had it and that they had been fully booked for days. However we had called several hours earlier to make sure we were good and she had indicated several rooms were available. Gave half an effort of finding us a new room, but really just pretended to care before we left.
Happy to say, that for alittle more then $15, I have a much nicer room and it's super quite. I recommend if your reading this review, how to the Valley Vista Inn. Much cleaner, and very, very quite.
This place sucks, I had several of our drivers spent the night there, I picked this hotel since they advertise that they have Free Continental Breakfast which was a joke. See the photos, the driver told me that they had all the appliances disconnected in the room, so he had to plug in the microwave, mini fridge and even the alarm clock. The so called continental breakfast was coffee and some store bought cupcakes. I rather pay a little more and get them a good nights sleep and a good hot breakfast. Their personnel acted like my guys were not entitled to the breakfast when it clearly states it was included. Super bad PR.
Very noise. Paper thin walls, so you can hear everything going on in next room. Not very clean. My room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed info forever. I reserved my room for 12 days. Paid for 1 week, then would pay for rest of days, following week. Still had one night left, and owner comes knocking, with the do not disturb sign, on the door. Told me she thought I was checking out. I tried to remind her that i reserved my room til the 28th. She left and came knocking again. Do not disturb sign still on my door. I answer it, tell her give me a few minutes and I'll check out. ( I took the day off, because i had a fever, so put up the do not disturb sign. )
When I arrived first at the Travelers Inn I noticed right away that the front area was clean and inviting with a few kitties walking around outside with green grass and flowers lighting up the front office. Once inside all who we came in contact with that works there was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure that we had the best service. Every morning they have coffee, muffins, fruit and bagels ready to help get your morning started! You can always see the employees working around the property which is nice to see they care and take pride in their motel. The rooms were clean and set up nicely. They are cozy and inviting, a high recommendation for this motel!
The room seems pretty decent when we first walked in. Are middle blanket on our bed had a huge hole in it. Our actual room had plaster of a different color white covering up a whole bunch of different areas. The bathroom in the corner had drops of pee in it and look like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. They said they serve free breakfast, so originally we thought it would be a full breakfast. There was a bowl of bananas on the table and mini muffins in the Box. We decided we would just eat out. We waited there for a while and there was nobody at the counter so we rang the bell and called out. A lady acknowledged any very tired voice. A lady different from the night before showed up and she just woke up. She must have been sleeping in the back. She was still wearing pajamas and her hair was messy. We gave her our key and said we are checking out and left. The TVs were still bulking TV sets and they were air messages that just wouldn't go away. While it was very convenient to be able to sleep in a hotel room while we were in town for business, and the other hotels Had No Vacancy, we don't plan to go back when we are in Craig again.
